Ilse-Sabine Beck

Ilse-Sabine Beck (* 1949 in Berlin ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Administrative Court .

Life

She studied law at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Tübingen . After her legal clerkship and passing the second state examination , she became a judge at the Berlin Administrative Court in the summer of 1975 . While she was seconded to the Berlin Senate Department for Justice for several years , she was appointed judge at the Berlin Higher Administrative Court in spring 1991 .

In October 1997 she became a judge at the Federal Administrative Court and remained so until she retired on May 1, 2012. Until 2000 she was assigned to the 9th Audit Senate , which was concerned with asylum law, and then belonged to the 1st Audit Senate and, since June 2007, also to the 10th Audit Senate. Both the 1st and 10th Senate deal with immigration and asylum law. In addition, she was involved for several years as the deputy chairman of the judges' council and in the expert forum at the Asylum and Migration Information Center.
