Administrative Court of Berlin
The Berlin Administrative Court is the only administrative court in the State of Berlin and the largest administrative court in Germany.
Seat and District of the Court
The Berlin Administrative Court has its seat in Berlin . It is located at Kirchstrasse 7 in Berlin-Moabit near the Moabiter Bridge . The judicial district (jurisdiction) covers the entire area of the state. Due to the headquarters of the Foreign Office in the judicial district, it is also the court of first instance for administrative matters of German missions abroad , e.g. B. Decisions on Issuing Visas .

The next higher court is the Berlin-Brandenburg Higher Administrative Court , which is also based in Berlin. The Federal Administrative Court is superordinate to this.

- Case district office Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf against Café Pssst! . The judgment pronounced in 2000 with the invalidation of the termination of the license issued by the authorities is generally regarded as an important milestone on the way to the current Prostitution Act .
- On March 7, 2008 the court declared the Post's minimum wage to be illegal.
