State Social Court Berlin-Brandenburg
The Landessozialgericht Berlin-Brandenburg is the joint higher court for the social justice of the states of Berlin and Brandenburg that emerged from the merger of the Landessozialgericht Berlin and the Landessozialgericht Brandenburg on July 1, 2005 .
Seat and District of the Court
The court has its seat in the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam . The judicial district covers the entire federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg.
The court has been housed in the Babelsberg district of Potsdam at Försterweg 2-6 since 2005 .
management
The first president of the joint state social court was Jürgen Blaesing (previously president of the state social court of Brandenburg). In 2009 Monika Paulat , who is also President of the German Social Court Day , became President of the Regional Social Court. She was in service until December 31, 2013. After more than four years of vacancy, Sabine Schudoma was introduced as the new President of the court on January 19, 2018 .
