Regional social court for the Saarland
The Regional Social Court for Saarland is a German court of the social justice system of the Saarland founded on January 1, 1959 .
Seat and District of the Court
The court has its seat in Saarbrücken .
The judicial district covers the entire area of the state. It thus covers an area of around 2571 km 2 with a population of around 995,000 (as of September 30, 2017).
Courthouse
The court is housed together with the social court for the Saarland in the building Egon-Reinert-Straße 4 - 6 .
Superordinate and subordinate courts
The Federal Social Court is superordinate to the Regional Social Court. Subordinate is only the Saarbrücken Social Court, which is also responsible for the entire Saarland.
