Saxon State Social Court
The Saxon State Social Court is a court of social jurisdiction of the Free State of Saxony . Gerd Schmidt has been the president of the court since January 1, 2009.
Seat and District of the Court
The regional social court (LSG) has its seat in Chemnitz . The judicial district covers the entire area of the Free State of Saxony.
Courthouse
The Saxon State Social Court is located in the Kauffahrtei 25 building in 09120 Chemnitz . The building was erected in 1921–1924 as the trading center for the Großeinkaufsgesellschaft Deutscher Konsumvereine (GEG), the architect was Erich Basarke . The building complex is a listed building.
Instance move
The Federal Social Court is superordinate to the Regional Social Court. Subordinate courts are the social courts of Chemnitz , Dresden and Leipzig .
