Ilse Graf (born January 29, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and director of the adult education center . From 2012 to 2015 she was a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Graf graduated from a commercial college in 1974 and then worked from 1974 to 1983 as a secretary at Persil (now Henkel ) and as a customer advisor and product manager at Rank Xerox . She then worked as a freelance communication trainer from 1986 to 1992 and from 1992 worked in administration and program planning at the Liesing Adult Education Center . In September 2004 Graf took over the position of director of the Liesing Adult Education Center.

Politics and functions

Graf became chairwoman of Section 21 of the SPÖ Liesing in 1990 and was active as a district councilor in Liesing from December 1991 to April 2012. On April 27, 2012, Graf was sworn in as the successor to Hannelore Reischl , who had resigned from her mandate. At the time of her inauguration, Graf named promoting the coexistence of generations and distributive justice between the sexes as the main goals of her political work. At the end of the legislative period, Graf left the state parliament and municipal council on November 24, 2015. Graf has been a district councilor in Liesing again since 2015. Graf is deputy chairwoman of the Liesing SPÖ women, education SPÖ Liesing and freedom fighter Liesing.

Private

Graf is divorced and has two daughters.
