Ilse Hübener (born August 17, 1920 in Berlin ) is a German soprano .

Life

Richard Wagner's great-great-great-grandniece received classical singing training from Fritz Peiser in Paris and also studied singing at the Berlin Conservatory and the opera school of M. Schulze-Dornburg and Cornelis Bronsgeest. Since 1939 she has given symphony and solo concerts, and from 1945 to 1947 she was part of the ensemble of the Berlin State Opera . There she played and sang in productions of Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel , Giacomo Puccini's coat and Eugen d'Albert's Tiefland, among others .

In addition, Hübener also worked as a speaker and singer for radio , among others for the stations NWDR , SFB , BR , RIAS , Radio Zurich and the Columbia Broadcasting System . In the WDR production Liebe im Dreiklang from 1951 (conductor: Franz Marszalek ) she sang the duets Glücklich ich ich mich and Since my way led to you together with Peter Anders . She also sang recordings of individual hits like I put the radio down very quietly .

She also dubbed the lead actresses' vocal parts for film productions such as Wedding Night in Paradise and the Gangster Premiere .
