Ilse Mehrkens
Ilse Mehrkens (born February 20, 1933 in Bremen ; † June 3, 1999 in Bremen) was a German politician. She was a member of the Bremen Citizenship ( SPD ).
biography
Mehrkens was married to the railroad worker Kurt Mehrkens (1929–1998); both had three children. The son of Klaus Karl Mehrkens (* 1955) is an artist. She was buried in the Riensberg cemetery in Bremen.
She was a member of the SPD and was active in various functions. She was for the SPD from 1987 to 1999 (†) in the 12th, 13th and 14th electoral terms for twelve years as a member of the Bremen citizenship and in various deputations in the citizenship .
