Ilse Pfeffer (born June 9, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and since 2002 district head of the 17th Viennese district of Hernals .

Pfeffer studied psychology and education and from 1984 worked as a psychologist in the Office for Youth and Family. At the same time as the beginning of her professional career, Pfeffer became active in the SPÖ Hernals and was district councilor from 1987 to 2001. In 1989 she took over the management of Section 11 of the SPÖ-Hernals, and in 1997 she became chairman of the finance committee. Within the party, she took over the function of deputy district party chairman in 2000, and in 2001 she was elected deputy district leader. On March 6, 2002, she finally took over the office of district director in Hernals.
