Ilse Strempel
Ilse Sofia Strempel (* 1946 ) is a German ophthalmologist .
Career
From 1972 onwards, Strempel set up the histological laboratory of the University Clinic in Giessen and Marburg . In 1987, in connection with an appointment professorship, she became head of the functional area of ophthalmopathology . Her scientific work focuses on new healing methods in the therapy of glaucoma . She was the deputy managing director and head of the outpatient clinic for more than 20 years.
In 1997 she was co-founder of the German Society for Holistic Ophthalmology.
