The Imam Ali Mosque ( Danish Imam Ali Moske , Arabic حرم الإمام علي Haram al-Imam Ali ) is a mosque inthe Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen . It is named after the Arab caliph ʿAlī ibn Abī Tālib ,murdered in 661, the son-in-law and cousin of the founder of the religion, Mohammed .

Two minarets , 36 meters high , belong to the structure and the built-up area is 2100 m². The mosque can accommodate over 1500 people.
