Imants Blūzmanis

Imants Blūzmanis (born May 7, 1987 in Jūrmala , Latvian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Latvian pianist .

biography

Imants Blūzmanis received his first piano lessons at the age of 7. Since the age of thirteen he has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician and with an orchestra. a. with the State Chamber Orchestra of Latvia, the Rezekne Symphony Orchestra and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra ( Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris ) under Normunds Vaicis . As a teenager he played in well-known concert halls in Latvia as well as in the Tampere - Talo Chamber Hall in Finland and the Oratorium Marianum in Wroclaw .

Blūzmanis played concerts in Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Italy, France, Russia and Slovenia. From 2006 to 2012 he studied piano at the Munich University of Music and Theater with Franz Massinger and Gitti Pirner .
