Imelda Felicyta Ximenes Belo

Imelda Felicyta Ximenes Belo (born October 24, 1998 ) is a swimmer from East Timor .

Belo comes from Baucau . Here, at the age of 14, she began her swimming training in the pool of the Pousada de Baucau , which continues to serve as a training pool for the city's swimming athletes.

As a member of the swimming team took first at the FINA World Championships in 2017 in Budapest , where she each ended in two competitions on the rear seats: the 50m freestyle at No. 82 and 100m freestyle at No. 78. In the Short Course World Championships in 2018 in Hangzhou came Belo in the 100 m freestyle in 94th place. At the 2018 Asian Games , she finished 24th in the 200 m freestyle in last place. In the 100 m freestyle, Belo came in 25th out of 27 starters.

At the 2019 World Swimming Championships in Gwangju , Belo started freestyle over 50 m (95th place) and 100 m (91st place).
