reception

Oliver Klemm wrote in Rock Hard that after “hearty appetizers in the form of noble demos” now follows “the main meal.” Among the ten courses that the musicians involved would do on the album, “nobody is guaranteed to be unable to would be to tickle even the most spoiled Melodic palate according to all the rules of AOR art ”. Impact offers “classic Yankrock, brimming with FM appeal”, which reminds “of the more commercial Sammy Hagar things of the early eighties” and of Night Ranger , “the superb semi-ballad” More Than Tonight, “blessed memories of the brilliant Mitch Malloy- Debut ”wake up, with One Minute To Midnight Triumph's “ fabulous Progressions Of Power / Allied Forces phase ”resurrected and with the instrumental finale Open Road glide on“ so crisply arranged melodies ”that“ you don't miss the otherwise first-class vocals ” . The album is "a clear mandatory purchase for the target group".
