Inês Cristina Zuber (born March 11, 1980 in Évora ) is a Portuguese politician ( PCP ; CDU ).

After graduating in sociology and planning, Zuber worked as a scholarship holder in a scientific research program and as a research assistant in the Research and Study Center for Sociology at the Lisbon University Institute . Until 2007 she was a member of the national leadership, the secretariat and the political committee of the youth organization of the Communist Party of Portugal, from 2002 to 2008 she was a member of the central committee and the one for the city of Lisbon . She was also a member of the board of the National Youth Council and the board of the Association of Scientific Research Fellows. She has been a member of the São Paulo Municipal Assembly since 2009 , and a successor in the European Parliament since the beginning of 2012 . In 2019, Zuber resigned from parliament on a regular basis.

Zuber has joined the Confederal Group of the European United Left / Nordic Green Left.

She is Vice-Chair of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee and of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America. She is a member of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and of the delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. As a deputy, she is also active in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy , in the Committee on Culture and Education and in the delegation for relations with the countries of Mercosur.
