history
The company was founded in 2000 as InTelCom Systems AG as a company in the telecommunications industry. On November 8, 2004, the company went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange . In 2006 the first international production facility was opened in the Czech Republic . In 2008 the company was renamed InTiCa Systems AG, it still made 76% of its sales with telecommunications in the area of wired networks. Since 2015, InTiCa Systems has been concentrating exclusively on the business fields of automotive technology and industrial electronics. InTiCa Systems has been operating a production plant in Mexico since 2016 . The share of sales in the automotive sector was over 77% in 2018. The company operates a technology center at its headquarters in Passau, with production facilities in Prachatice , Czech Republic and Silao, Mexico.
