Stevie Ray Vaughan's fourth studio album in Step is from 1989. It is the last one he recorded with his band Double Trouble . He recorded the follow-up album and his last Family Style in 1990 with his brother Jimmie Vaughan . On August 27, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash.
At the Grammy Awards 1990 Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble received the award in the category Best Contemporary Blues Album.
