Ina Rex

Ina Rex ( pseudonym for Alwine Amalie Hinrichsen , née Hannemann; * 1848 on Klein Zicker on Rügen , † January 19, 1910 in Rostock ) was a German writer.

Life

Alwine Hannemann was born on Rügen as the daughter of the tax officer Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Hannemann and his wife Marie Sophie Johanna, née Niemann. She later married the Rostock businessman Carl Hinrichsen.

Her short story collection Stille Schicksale appeared in 1908, and in 1910 the novel Leveling Work of the Time . In it she describes life on Mönchgut in the 19th century . The book was reprinted several times (1934, 1999).
