Yoshio Inaba ( Japanese 稲 葉 義 男 , Inaba Yoshio ; born July 15, 1920 in Narita , Chiba Prefecture , Japan ; † April 20, 1998 in Suginami , Tokyo , Japan) was a Japanese actor.
He starred in over 44 films, including two works by Akira Kurosawa . His best known role is probably that of the good samurai Gorobei Katayama in The Seven Samurai . He died in 1998 of complications from a heart attack .
