Inawashiro Lake ( Japanese 猪苗 代 湖 , Inawashiro-ko ) is the fourth largest inland lake in Japan .
geography
The lake is located at an altitude of 514 m above sea level south of the Bandai volcanic group on the island of Honshu and in the prefecture of Fukushima . It is about 103.2 km², its mean depth is 51.5 m.
On the shore of the lake are the cities of Aizu-Wakamatsu , Kōriyama and Inawashiro .
