To the pieces
McDonald, who had previously often given concerts for US soldiers, mixed political protest songs and sentimental songs in his album. Tricky Dicky refers to former US President Richard Nixon , whom McDonald compares to a plastic puppet. You Know What I Mean is an anecdote that McDonald tells in between.
