Food production index per capita
The index of food production per capita (English name of the FAO index of food production per capita ) is the ratio of the average amount of annually produced per capita food to the produced in the recorded year total. It is calculated by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
For the purposes of the index, foods include:
- Nuts ,
- fruit
- Legumes ,
- Grain ,
- Vegetables ,
- Sugar cane ,
- Sugar beet ,
- starchy roots ,
- Edible fats ,
- Food of animal origin ( meat , edible fish ) and products made from it ( sausage , ham and bacon )
