The Indre Bølingen (from Norwegian indre 'inner' ) are a group of islands off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . They, together with the Ytre Bølingen the archipelago Bølingen in the southeast part of Prydz Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them in 1946 using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
