Ines Doleschal

Ines Doleschal (* 1972 in Waiblingen ) is a German artist. She lives and works in Berlin.

Life

Ines Doleschal began studying art history and English at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen in 1992 . During a one-year stay abroad in London in 1995, she took a pre-degree course “Art and Art History” at Goldsmiths' College . After her return in 1996 she studied painting and art education with Elly Strik and Udo Scheel at the Art Academy in Münster and English at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster for another four years . After the state examination and the diploma, she started the postgraduate course "Art in Context" at the University of the Arts in Berlin in 2001 .

Since then she has lived in Berlin with her family.

In her painting Doleschal deals with utopian architectural representations, so-called non-places.

Her painting is also significantly influenced by an interest in the form and color compositions of the Dessau Bauhaus .
