Ines Feierabend (born April 20, 1965 in Erfurt ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). Since 2015 she has been State Secretary in the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family of the Free State of Thuringia .

Career

After attending school from 1981 to 1985, after finishing school, she studied pedagogy at the Institute for Teacher Training in Meiningen , graduating as a teacher for the lower classes. After graduating, she studied at the Karl Marx party college from 1988 to 1990 . She then held various positions in Berlin's district administrations and in the senate administration , most recently as deputy mayor and district councilor for labor, social affairs and health in the Treptow-Köpenick district until 2014 .

On January 1st, 2015 she was appointed State Secretary of the Thuringian Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family in the Ramelow I cabinet by Minister Heike Werner .
