Informatica Feminale

The Informatica Feminale (IF) is a nationwide oriented project that in 1997 the degree program computer science at Bremen University was founded and a year as a two-week Summer University for Women is organized. It brings together female scientists and female students from all computer science courses as well as pupils and trained women interested in computer science and IT-related topics. Based on this model, Informatica Feminale Baden-Württemberg has been taking place since 2001 as a project of the Ministry of Science, Research and Art, alternating annually at Furtwangen University and the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg .
