Ingemar Backman

John Ingemar Backman Trast (born April 1, 1976 in Gällivare ) is a Swedish professional snowboarder .

Backman attended a snowboard school in Malung and won the Air & Style contest in Innsbruck in 1994 . He became famous in 1996 with his world record in the highest jump in a quarter pipe (7.5 meters) in Riksgränsen , Sweden.

Backman is a co-founder of the clothing company WeSC . Backman is also the managing director of the snowboard company Allian . Backman is also active in the game of poker. In his second international competition, an EPT event in Baden , Austria in 2005, he finished fifth. It is sponsored by the internet poker site Martin's Poker .
