Inghirami is an impact crater on the westernmost edge of the front of the moon , south of Piazzi crater and west of Schickard . The crater is very badly eroded.

Starting from the north-western edge of the crater, it runs in a north-westerly direction towards the Mare Orientale to the moon valley Vallis Inghirami, named after the crater .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Giovanni Inghirami .
