Ingo Koller

Ingo Koller (born March 10, 1940 in Munich ) is a German law scholar and former university professor.

Life

From 1960 Koller studied law at the University of Munich , where he passed his first state examination in law in 1965. In 1969 he passed his second state examination and then worked as a research assistant at the Munich chair of Claus-Wilhelm Canaris . In 1971, under the supervision of Ernst Steindorff , he became a Dr. iur. PhD. In 1977, under Canaris' supervision, he also completed his habilitation and received the venia legendi for the subjects of civil law, commercial law, and business and labor law.

From the following year 1978 Koller held a full professorship at the University of Passau . In 1984 he moved to the University of Regensburg to take the chair for civil law and legal sociology as well as commercial, business and labor law, which he held until his retirement in 2005.

Koller's research focus is primarily on civil law and commercial law, especially transport law , on which he wrote a comment. In addition, he devoted himself to labor law.
