Ingrid Lechner-Sonnek (born March 30, 1953 in Weiz ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ) and social manager. Lechner-Sonnek was a member of the Styrian state parliament from 2000 to 2015 .

Lechner-Sonnek began her political engagement in 1985 in the Green Alternative Citizens List Gleisdorf and represented the list between 1990 and 2001 as a councilor. Between 1995 and 2000 she also held the function of City Councilor for Finance. She stood in the state elections in 2000 as the top candidate for the constituency of the East and was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on November 7, 2000. In November 2000 she also took over the position of club chairwoman and was the Greens division spokesperson for the environment, air quality, energy, education, childcare, disability, health, economy, housing, finance and communities. In 2015 she left the state parliament. In addition, Lechner-Sonnek was the state spokesperson for the Styrian Greens between 1998 and 2005 and a member of the national board of the Greens from 2004 to 2008.

Lechner-Sonnek is married and the mother of Ida and Marie Kreutzer .
