Ingrid Lehmann is the former GDR head coach in figure skating .

Ingrid Lehmann trained many GDR figure skaters in the figure skating section of the SC Einheit Dresden and took part in many European and World Championships as well as the Olympic Games in her role as GDR head coach. She trained u. a. the athletes

  • Simone Koch , Junior World Champion 1983, GDR runner-up in 1987 (2nd), participant in the European Championship 1985 (4th), 1988 (5th) and World Cup participant in 1988 (8th)
  • Hermann Schulz , GDR champion 1981, European Championship participant 1975 (8th), 1979 (7th), 1980 (5th), 1981 (4th), World Cup participant 1979 (12th), 1980 (10th) and 1980 Olympics (11th)

After the fall of the Wall, she was part of the figure skating department of the Dresden Ice Sports Club (ESCD).

After the reunification, the qualified sports teacher Ingrid Lehmann became a member of the scientific advisory board in the study program “Sport Management” of the European Institute for Postgraduate Education (EIPOS) at the TU Dresden. Under her leadership, the villa at Goetheallee 24 was renovated in 1992 for the EIPOS course. Her husband Günter Lehmann had been Vice President of EIPOS since 1990.
