Inhumanoids is an animated series from 1986 and is about the battle of the Earth Corps against three powerful monsters, the Inhumanoids, who want to subdue the earth. The series is based on a toy made by Hasbro in 1986.

action

Paleontologists found in a national park an amber block of gigantic proportions, in which a large dinosaurs seem to be included. The log is taken to San Francisco and examined by the Earth Corps, a team of government scientists. At the same time, the drilling team of the criminal oil tycoon Blackthorne Shore comes across a monster with green tentacles locked in a cave and freed it. The amber block, which is now in the Natural History Museum, suddenly emits shrill sounds and the dinosaur's head is released by flaking chunks. Tendril , the green monster, frees D. Compose , the dinosaur, from his amber prison . Both are swallowed up during a fight with the military and police.

The Earth Corps manages to get hold of a tissue sample from Tendril beforehand. While researching these inhumanoids , the researchers come across the redwoods , large tree monsters. These tell of a war that took place ages ago between the Inhumanoids on the one hand and the Redwoods, the Granites and Magnokor , on the other. With united forces, the Inhumanoids were finally subdued and held underground.

It turns out that Tendril and D. Compose obviously want to free the third and worst in-humanoid, Metlar , who is tied up by Magnokor with a strong magnetic field. The Earth Corps takes on the fight against the Inhumanoids who seek to subjugate the earth.
