The Injecta factory and Teufenthal in 1969

Injecta AG ( own spelling INJECTA ), founded in 1920, operated injection molding plants and an apparatus factory in Teufenthal , Canton Aargau . The production program included die casting of various metals and alloys, hot pressing and special casting processes . With a license from Doehler Die Casting Company , New York City, in 1919, Eugen Weber built the INCA plant at Wynentalstrasse 1 through the Aktiengesellschaft Karrer, Weber & Co., Unterkulm. It was the first die casting foundry in Europe to open it to the local community and foreign customers from August 1921 new ways in device construction.

Light metal die-casting helped a wide range of precision mechanical products to produce frame or housing blanks that required little post-processing. These were household appliances, woodworking tools, bicycle accessories, counters, building hardware, colored pencil sharpeners, holders for telephone books in public telephone booths or amateur film equipment. The workpieces weighed from fractions of a gram to several kilograms. Aluminum-based alloys or brass were processed with the INCA brand. The brand's devices were widespread in Swiss households. Injecta also supplied international components for Elna sewing machines , Philips electric razors, Jura steam irons, Leica cameras and BMW motorcycles. From 1959 the company also processed plastics, and in 1971 opened its own plastics factory in Triengen .

Injecta had 817 employees in 1948, around 1000 in the early 1970s, around 600 in the 1990s and 110 shortly before it closed. At the end of 2010, the company was discontinued and the company was liquidated in 2011.
