Into the Blind is a German silent film drama filmed in 1913 with Erna Morena .

action

A young woman walks into her marriage with a lie. On this shaky foundation, she and the people around her grows heavy suffering, combined with fear and severe jealousy, which, however, turns out to be unfounded. Things get complicated when the former lover shows up and the young wife's desperation increases to the extreme. This mélange of strongest waves of emotions leads to the woman suddenly dying of a heartbeat.

Production notes

Film censorship passed into Blind in January 1914 and was probably premiered a little later. The two-act started in Vienna in March of the same year.

criticism

Vienna's Neue Freie Presse wrote on the occasion of the Austrian premiere: “What Erna Morena does in the lead role is one of the best we have seen in the film. The play of the other actors and the landscape and interior shots are on the same level. It is really an elegant, finely toned work. "
