The Inspiration Rocks (English for Enlightenment Rocks ) are a group of rocky outcrops in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Jones Mountains they loom on the northern edge of Cache Heights .
Participants in an expedition to the Jones Mountains undertaken by the University of Minnesota from 1960 to 1961 mapped and named them. It is named after the fact that almost the entire Jones Mountains can be seen from here.
