Projects

The Minisat 01 was launched on April 21, 1997 from the Gran Canaria Air Force Base ( Gran Canaria Airport ) and is the first satellite to be manufactured exclusively in Spain. In the first four years it flew 21,000 times around the earth and covered around 700 million kilometers. The 200 kilogram Minisat is about the size of a dresser and can be used in many ways. After the satellite was still fully operational in 2001, its mission was extended for a further two years.

The sounding rocket INTA-255 was launched three times between 1969 and 1970 from El Arenosillo , the INTA-300 six times between 1974 and 1994.

INTA developed an unmanned aerial vehicle under the abbreviation SIVA . Four SIVA were handed over to the Spanish army in 2006 for testing purposes .
