Integration Commissioner (Legislative)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The integration representative of a faction in the German Bundestag is appointed by his group deputy who has the task within his faction, focus integration to address in its entirety by both inside and out and to develop new concepts and ideas. To this end, it networks members of the parliamentary group, government representatives from the federal and state levels , academics and relevant civil society actors with one another in order to create new incentives for shaping integration policy together with them . Since the subject of “integration” is not clearly assigned to a committee , the integration officer is also a member of parliament who addresses and represents this focus in many parliamentary bodies.

In order to be able to carry out his task effectively, he can create extraordinary bodies that support him in his task.

Within the parliamentary group program, it is largely up to him which special priorities the integration officer sets during his office.

Faction position

Within the parliamentary group, the office of integration commissioner, together with other legislative commissioners, takes a position out of sequence. The subject of integration is a broad cross-sectional area. Since this is problematized in many bodies, it currently does not have its own committee in the Bundestag .
