Positions

Temporary work

Juratovic criticizes the abuse of agency work , which leads to wage dumping and precarious employment. He advocates “ equal pay ”. For temporary workers, this means that they receive the same wages as the permanent workforce for the same work at the same location. Temporary workers should continue to be employed and be paid even when they are not working. Works councils in the hiring companies should have effective participation rights for temporary workers employed in their company. The maximum duration of temporary employment relationships should be limited to one year.

Work contracts

Juratovic combats the systematic abuse of contracts for work and services and bogus contracts , which are used to circumvent rights of co-determination and notice periods and to pay dumping wages. He advocates an amendment to the Works Constitution Act so that works councils must be involved in the use of work contracts. Especially in companies without strong works councils, control of contracts for work must be ensured by the financial control of illegal work.

Free movement of workers

Juratovic welcomes the free movement of workers in the EU. He also calls for a nationwide minimum wage , which would prevent the risk of wage dumping in the competition between workers from different countries.

European Union

Accession of the Balkans

Juratovic advocated Croatia's accession to the European Union . He sees the enlargement of the EU in the direction of the Western Balkans as a step towards more stability and peace in Southeastern Europe and thus as a gain for the entire continent.
