Dominik Bammer (born January 18, 1990 in Linz ) is a former Austrian handball player .
Career
Born in Linz, he began to play handball at SG Linz / Neue Heimat in his youth . In the 2009/10 season he moved to HIT Innsbruck and made his debut in the Handball League Austria . In his first season with the Tyroleans he had the opportunity to prove himself in the EHF Challenge Cup , where he scored three goals against Bologna United. After Bammer won the runner-up title against Alpla HC Hard in 2011/12 , he was eligible to participate in the EHF Cup for the first time in his career in the following season . After HIT Innsbruck and the ULZ Schwaz started a cooperation in the summer of 2013 and thus only had one team in the HLA, he was transferred to this, so he started playing for Sparkasse Schwaz Handball Tirol from this year on. This season he was called up to the national handball team for the first time and was in the squad for the 2014 European handball championship . After just one year as part of the newly formed team, he switched to Bregenz Handball . In 2018, Bammer ended his career.
