features

The subsection mostly contains medium-sized to large and more or less robust pigeons. The meat is pretty unchangeable and tastes mild. It has no herring smell. The hat colors are very variable, partly bright, partly covered, but never pure bright red or white. Brownish, red-brown, copper-colored or more or less purple-colored hats occur. Sometimes the hat is colored greenish to olive. The spore powder is ocher to yolk yellow (III or IV).
