Intel 200 series

The Intel 200 series is a series of motherboard chipsets from Intel and the successor to the Intel 100 series . The chipset series is code-named "Union Point". The chips support processors of the Skylake generation and the newer Kabylake generation. With the exception of the X299 chipset, all support the LGA 1151 socket in the first generation. In contrast, the LGA 2066 base is used in the high-end and server segment .
