Intel 8216
The Intel 8216 is a bidirectional 4-bit driver for the Intel-8080 / 8085 processors has been developed. The module is supplied in a 16-pin DIL housing . He was u. a. licensed to NEC and Siemens . If CE ( C hip S elect ) is switched to GND , the module is selected. With DIEN ( D ata i n en able ), the data flow direction is determined (0: DI → DB; 1: DB → DO). The 8226 has the same functionality, but inverts the data.
