The International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP, German  International Society for Applied Psychology ) is one of the two most important international psychological societies. Individuals can become members of this organization (in contrast to the IUPsyS as the umbrella organization of national professional associations). Its task is to promote applied psychology in science and practice and to stimulate global exchange on these questions. The IAAP was founded in 1920, making it the oldest international specialist organization in psychology.

The IAAP has more than 1500 members from around 80 countries. The International Congress for Applied Psychology takes place every 4 years. The IAAP is organized in 16 divisions for the individual disciplines of psychology . She publishes the journal Applied Psychology: An International Review . The IAAP is the oldest international organization of psychologists and was founded in 1920 as the "International Association of Psychotechnology" (Association International de Psychotechnique). In 1955 it was given its current name. The official languages ​​are English and French. The IAAP is an associate member of the International Social Science Council .
