International Food Retail Capital

The International Food Retail Capital ( IFR Capital PLC , short IFRC) is a private equity -Gesellschaft, which is headquartered in Cyprus , and in which it has a holding company is. The majority of the shares are owned by the entrepreneurs Theo Müller and Heiner Kamps .

The company was founded in 2005 and had been listed on the London Stock Exchange since mid-November of that year .

At the end of 2006 it was announced that IFRC would buy Kamps Food Retail Investments , SA (KFRI) for 130 million euros . The fish restaurant chain Nordsee belonged to this company, which was founded by Kamps in 2005 . In 2007 the acquisition of Homann Feinkost followed for 180 million euros , and in 2008 that of Heinrich Hamker Lebensmittelwerke . In 2009 the dressing business of Walter Rau Lebensmittelwerke was taken over.

At the beginning of 2010, IRC Capital was no longer listed on the London Stock Exchange and was supposed to switch to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange , which was discarded in March 2010. Instead, growth would initially come from its own resources.

In April 2010 the Federal Cartel Office approved the takeover of the Northern European business of the British food company Uniq . As a result, IFRC came into the possession of Nadler Feinkost GmbH, Pfennigs Feinkost GmbH, Thuringian Fischfeinkost Gebrüder Hopf GmbH and the Polish Uniq Lisner Sp.zoo

The company's operational business is carried out by HK Food GmbH , which emerged from Heiner Kamps Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbh at the end of March 2010 .
