Brussels International Erotic Festival

International Erotic Festival of Brussels (Dutch: "Internationaal Erotica Festival van Brussel", French: "Festival International de l'Érotisme de Bruxelles") is an erotic fair held annually in February in Brussels , Belgium . In 2007 Estelle Desanges succeeded Clara Morgane as godmother of the festival.

During the festival, the "European X Award" is presented, a prize from the European hardcore industry that recognizes achievements in different categories. The festival and the award ceremony can be seen as the European counterpart to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and the AVN Awards in the USA. Each participating country (typically Germany, Italy, Spain, France) receives its own prizes, such as: best film, best actress, best director, best actor, etc.

The first festival took place in 1993, the European X Awards were first presented in 1995.
