International Truck Alliance is a British automotive group based in London . Date of establishment is November 15, 2002. There was a subsidiary in Russia, Intrall Rus . At the end of 2003, the production rights for two Polish vehicles were acquired. As a result, Intrall Polska was founded on December 19, 2003 in Lublin and the factory was taken over by Fabryka Samochodów Ciężarowych . In 2004, the production of the Lublin van and the DZT Honker all-terrain vehicle began . Since these were the main products of the group for years, the founding of the International Truck Alliance is partially equated with that of the Polish manufacturer in 1950. Intrall Polska went bankrupt in 2007.

Intrall Polska

The history of the plant begins in 1951. In 1995 it was taken over by Daewoo and continued as Daewoo Motor Polska . In 2003, Intrall Rus, which had previously been active in Poland, took over the plant in Lublin from the Polish state assets after Daewoo Motor Polska went bankrupt in 2001 and the plant has since been taken over by the leasing company Andoria Motors . There the Lublin and the Honker were manufactured under Daewoo (see FSC Lublin ). The plans for a fully developed vehicle had to be sold to pay off debt. The new subsidiary Intrall Polska continued production of both models and invested in further development.

The plant was developed by Polish and Russian engineers after the takeover by Daewoo Motor Polska in 2003, the prototype of the new Lublin was presented under the Intrall Poland brand in September 2006; Production started in the 2nd quarter of 2007, but only ran for a few weeks. a. due to non-compliance with the Euro 4 emissions standard and the resulting insolvency (2007). Another problem was the demand by the Polish Ministry of National Defense that more than 50 percent of the suppliers of vehicles for the army had to be held by domestic shareholders. Thus the Honker could no longer be ordered by the Polish Army.

In 2007, around 500 people worked at Intrall Polska. The models Lublin-II and Lublin-III were produced. The Zuk Lubo (bus and van) continued to be developed, but no longer appeared. On October 15, 2007, the district court declared INTRALL Poland bankrupt.

The LUBO was planned as the successor to the Lublin Intrall 3mi and was presented in 2006, including at the IAA trade fair in Hanover. Series production was planned for the second quarter of 2007, but the problems with meeting the Euro-4 emissions standard could no longer be resolved until the company went bankrupt. The production of the Honker was continued by the DZT Tymińscy , a new investor for the transporter has not yet been found. The actual successor to Lublin was presented in September 2010 by the DZT Tymińscy under the name Pasagon Tymińscy .

Currently (March 2013) the Lubo is still actively advertised as the only vehicle offered by the company. It is a "universal delivery van", it meets "all international standards in safety and ecology." It is available in six basic versions (including a minibus, box van and double cab for the fire service).

Current situation

Further information is now scarce, in Germany the Lubo was practically unknown in 2007. Nothing is known about Intrall Rus either, although in February 2011 it was reported that Intrall had signed an agreement for a project in Szczecin . Spare parts for the Honker, Lublin and Lubo models are still officially available, but specific requests for delivery apparently remain unanswered.
