Ioan-Vasile Leb

Ioan-Vasile Leb (born January 30, 1953 in Sálfalva ) is an Orthodox theologian and lecturer at the University of Munich .

Life

He studied Orthodox theology in Sibiu and Bucharest and then Theological Evangelical at the Faculty in Heidelberg , where he at Friedrich Heyer and Adolf Martin Ritter in 1981 with a dissertation on the Old Catholic Orthodox The development of relations bilaterally and in the context of the ecumenical movement doctorate . His doctorate was recognized in 1989 by the Faculty of Orthodox Theology Bucharest. From 1982 to 1990 he was an assistant and lecturer at the Orthodox Theological Institute of Sibiu and has been teaching as a lecturer and professor of church history at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the Babes Bolyai University in Cluj since 1990 . From 2000 to 2004 he was also the dean of this faculty.
