Ioannis Zepos

Ioannis Zepos ( Greek Ιωάννης Ζέπος ) (* 1871 in Pylos ; † 1946 in Athens ) was a Greek lawyer and legal historian.

He is best known as the editor of sources on the history of Byzantine law . The current Greek private law also belonged to his fields of work .

The sons of Ioannis Zepos included the lawyer Demetrios Zepos, who was Greek Minister of Labor for a short time in 1950, and the famous law professor and politician Panagiotis Zepos .
