Iosif Pustai (* 1943 or 1944 ; † January 2016 ) was a Romanian football player .
Athletic career
Pustai played for Olimpia Satu Mare , with the club he rose to the second-rate Divizia B in the late 1960s and was one of the protagonists of the most successful period in the club's history in the 1970s. The promotion to Divizia A in 1974 was followed by relegation in 1976, but after the direct return to the top division, the goalkeeper played in Divizia A until relegation in 1980. In addition, he reached the 1978 final of the Cupa României with the team as a substitute for Ștefan Fehér he saw the 1: 3 defeat against defending champions FC Universitatea Craiova from the sidelines .
Pusta passed away at the age of 72, shortly after the death of his longtime teammate Mircea Moldovan .
