Iraj Ghaderi

Iraj Ghaderi (* 1935 in Tehran ; † May 6, 2012 ibid) was an Iranian director and actor as well as screenwriter and producer.

Ghaderi initially studied medicine and pharmacy , but switched to acting in 1955 with the film Chahar-rahe havades by Samouel Khachikian ; more than forty other film engagements followed up to the Islamic Revolution . From 1979 to 1984 he was banned from working. He has directed over seventy films.
